A Midwestern wholesale nursery required a stable, well supported, and secure computing environment. Their old IT environment was comprised of one location, twenty six users, twenty workstations, two out of warranty physical servers and a firewall router.
Modern Data installed and configured one physical server that hosts five virtual Windows servers on the VMWare ESXi 6 operating system on a new Dell server. This allowed for separation of the software and hardware layers and better utilization of system resources. It also allowed for separation of services at the software level.
